Every minute of every day we make choices: what to wear, what to eat, where to go, what to do, or who to do it with.  Those decisions ultimately make up the physical (read visible) manifestation of our character.  So, why does it seem that most people go about almost every choice with almost complete disregard?  Too many people on this planet at this time seem to talk about their intentions but few ever really act on them.

Have we really transcended the work ethic of prior generations and now just expect things? What is it about discernment and the choices we make?

Our actions manifest the physical representation of our intentions. When we are young we think we have all the time in the world and are impatient to grow up.  Our middle years are dominated by the perceived need to conform, work, provide, protect and acquire stuff.  Our later years are a mish-mash of excitement, regrets and bargaining with god for more time.

If we are just in some petri dish being observed for some extraterrestrial’s science experiment then they would be recording our every action and statistically categorizing the observations.  What would that research show? Would you be one of the masses or an outlier in where your data shows?

I invite you to treat every choice with the reverence it deserves.  Use your discernment to prioritize your actions and stay true to your personal values.  You are your only judge and ultimately it is between you and god on how you faired with this life and your role in self, family and community.  In balancing physical, emotional and spiritual.  In making a more meaningful you.  In making a better life for your family. In making this world a better place for all.

It’s all rests on your discernment, and the choice you make.  I invite you to choose consciously.
