  1. “Building strong customer relationships” Generally speaking, people like to buy products and services from people and companies they like or respond well to. When you use inbound marketing strategies to build a rapport with your existing customers and with potential clients, you set yourself up for success. You need to utilize all the tools at your disposal in order to prove you are a reliable and constant source of information. Building these relationships are so incredibly important. There are quite a few ways you can do that—offer discounts or incentives or even free trials.
  2. “Solving consumers’ problems” Use your inbound tactics like social media to solve your customers’ problems—even the ones they didn’t know they had. Make their lives easier! That’s your job! Answer questions and provide relevant, thought provoking conversation.
  3. “Talking to influencers” Say what you want about influencer marketing, but it does work. These digital influencers can be great sources to promote your brand. Their following genuinely listens to what they have to say and want to use the same products they use. Ask an influencer to write a guest blog on your site and see what they can bring in for you.
  4. “Using advanced campaign analytics” Of course, your inbound marketing is only as good as the data you have to back it up. Today’s analytic platforms are getting better and better. Use these platforms to follow a visitors’ behavior both on and off your website. You want use that data to increase your conversion rate. Both Facebook and Twitter have retargeting options on the paid media side, so you should utilize that! With that, you can target users who have already interacted with your brand and website. They are more likely to convert!
  5. The big comeback of email marketing” Guess who’s back in action? That’s right! Email is back and ready to play. Today’s email marketing strategies are great for delivering relevant and engaging content right to the people who want it most.
