magnetic monkey marketing blogWe’ve talked before about the various important pages on your website. We wanted to put it all in one place– the four most vital pages for your site that you have to optimize, as told by Hubspot’s Neil Patel!

These pages are most commonly viewed and each holds a very important role for the growth of your business. It is time to engage your readers and optimize the pages.

A quick recap of optimization: It is the process of making something as functional and effective as possible. When you apply this concept to your website, you are setting yourself up for success. Optimization plays a huge factor in the inbound methodology of attracting, closing, and delighting customers. Optimization is first and foremost for your visitors! Search engines are important, but website visitors, the people who land on your page, look at your content. More visitors equal more leads, which means more customers. You want to attract more of the right kind of visitors, the ones that will inevitably convert to leads.

  1. Home Page: Your home page is the first thing your viewers see so it has to be quite spectacular. Hubspot recommends you use a big and noticeable banner– you want to showcase your brand and the appropriate information. You’ll also want to make sure everything flows well. Your site needs to be simple and easy to figure out! And of course make those calls to action really prominent on your page– “large and easy to click!”
  2. About Page: This is an important one because it provides all the vital information your potential leads will want to know. Be concise and poignant! You want to answer all the questions your viewers could possibly have. And we know that CTA’s are the life’s blood of your website. Make sure you have at least one of them on your about page. They want more than just information– they want a way to fully engage.
  3. Blog: Okay… you know the drill with this one. We are HUGE proponents of blogging. You know this, we know this, and everyone knows this. With the Internet allowing for all the answers we could ever want to exist easily within our grasp, it is our job to bring those answers to our community. Blogs provide us a way to get our information out there and become credible sources in our fields. A great blog can really help convert potential leads into satisfied customers! Remember to organize your info on this page clearly, with the most recent and relevant at the top. Once again, fully utilize those CTA’s. Pepper them into all your blogs.
  4. Contact Us Page: No body wants to search for a way to contact you! They want it to be easy and quick– remember that we live in the society of instant gratification. Provide the necessary information up front and center. Think emails, phone numbers, etc. Make the CTA’s on this page really prominent. “Chat Now,” “Email Us,” “Ask Us Your Questions!”

Just remember that your website is an extension of who you are and how your company represents itself. You want it to be the best it can be. So optimize away, friends, and watch customer satisfaction grow!
